We all had teachers who stood out. Some were memorable because they inspired us or helped to change the course of our lives. Some we remember for the exact opposite reasons. And some remain etched into our brain because of their quirks, idiosyncrasies, or catch phrases.
For this week’s Remember the Time Blog Hop, Emily and I want you to write about a teacher you still think back on, whether fondly or not. But just a fair warning: I used to be a teacher myself, so I may not be able to resist the urge to take my red pen to your posts. If you’re lucky, you might just get an A+.
After you write your piece, make sure to check back here or at The Waiting on Thursday to link up with us!

That scene from A Christmas Story is among my top five. Ralphie is my spirit animal.

That is hilarious. I had not remembered that clip but I did think teachers should respond that way to my papers in class. Loved how she clutched it to her chest. I. too, was a teacher and I am quite sure I never did THAT… 🙂

Maybe one day if I ever get back into the classroom, I will find an opportunity to write A++++++++++++++++ on the board. That movie is like one long highlight reel. It’s so good.
